Sonya Veronica Quartet is excited to be part of Jazz in the Park.

For this breezy early Autumn Sunday afternoon music session, the quartet is bringing a beloved selection of jazz, bossa, and French tunes.

The quartet is Alistair Mclean on guitar, Tom Lee on double bass, Alex Spicer on drums and Sonya Veronica on vocal.

Kind of Blue

Kind of Blue are a made up by a group of musicians who all met while studying Jazz improvisation at some of Melbourne’s top music universities, they now have over 10 years of experience performing together professionally in a multitude of bands and styles. After having performed at every type of event imaginable, from large 1,000 guest conferences and award nights to intimate birthday lunches, these musicians bring their wealth of experience to your event.

The band are perfect for those seeking to add a touch of class to their event with a mixture of laid-back to up-tempo Jazz & Latin favourites. Boasting a repertoire spanning Jazz classics from Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra & Ella Fitzgerald,  Kind of Blue will create the atmosphere you desire.

Black Tie Boogie

Black Tie Boogie are a Melbourne band of internationally recognised artists and born entertainers playing the finest music ever created, and some that’s just made up.

They are a dedicated party band playing hits from The Stones to Outkast, The Beatles to Dr Dre, Bruno Mars to Elvis or MJ to JayZ. Featuring five core members from Melbourne’s deep-rooted soul, jazz and party music scene, the band brings together members of WVR BABY, True Live, Raah Project, Thando, Echo Drama and Slippery Grips.

The Winfield Road Experiment

Melbourne instrumental band, The Winfield Road Experiment are a fiery Soul, Latin and Jazz band that will have you feeling the heat one moment before melting your heart the next.

It features a diverse line up of talented musicians and has a refreshing take on instrumental music that places a huge emphaisis on storyteller through melody while being approachable to the average listener. Expect to hear a horn section, percusionist, keys/organist, electric guitarist, flamenco guitarist, bassist and a drummer.
