Iseula
Iseula stands as a sublimely gifted blues, soul, and gospel singer possessing a style imbued with deep musicality and bare-faced allure.
Her stellar career as a vocalist and songwriter includes performances at Australia’s biggest blues music festivals and industry events, overseas performances in New Zealand and the U.S, a chart topping album on the Australian Blues & Roots charts, as well as a swag of highly coveted awards, including two Chain Awards (Nationwide Blues Music Award), Female Artist of the Year, VIC/TAS and an honourable mention in the International Song-writing Competition, Nashville TN, USA.
Known as front woman for Melbourne blues band ‘Blue Eyes Cry', Iseula has since launched her solo career and will be releasing an EP later in the year.
Louis King
Louis King (Aka Tommy McEwan) has been a full time musician and fixture in the Australian music world, since he came to notoriety as a young drummer in The Rubes in the 1980’s. He played in well known Aussie acts like the Straight 8’s and No Nonsense, as well as backing musician stints with touring acts Deke Dickerson, Starliners, The Detonators, and has even played drums for The UK’s Extrordinaires.
He has toured all over Australia, including major festivals such as the East Coast Festival in Byron Bay five times, as well as Bridgetown Cairns and Broadbeach Blues festivals
The Jimmy Cupples Band
Formed out of the ashes of 2020, Jimmy Cupples (vocals) and James Ryan (guitar) are the songwriting team behind King Canyon.
The Melbourne duo spent much of last year writing and recording (when they weren't live streaming), and even the months of lockdown didn't stop them from working on new material.
Determined not to be pinned down, they agreed to let the music lead them. Wearing their influences on their sleeve, King Canyon have an instantly recognisable and widely appealing sound that distils the Soul of the 60s coupled with the blues rock invasion of the 70s. Yet they have perfectly moulded that sound into a thoroughly contemporary pocket.
